Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following, other duties may be assigned. 

  • Be an active participant in the Dodge safety program
  • Assist manufacturing engineering in support of business/production unit
  • Conduct time studies as required
  • Create/change process routings and bills of material (BOM) as needed
  • Assist in the design layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency
  • Participate in lean manufacturing effort as a team member and/or support element
  • Attend and participate in regular engineering and business team meeting
  • Data entry and maintenance of engineering items within SAP operating system
  • Participate in project engineering efforts associated with equipment, tooling, and materials
  • Assist quality department in development of standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation
  • Apply statistical methods to evaluate and improve process capability and product quality
  • Assist in the recording, evaluating, and reporting of quality and reliability data

 Education Requirements: Must be a recent graduate or be actively enrolled in an accredited university in the study of Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.

 

Duration: Minimum one semester 20-30-40 hours per week depending on class schedule.
