We seek to employ an entry level electrical engineer whose duties include designing electrical systems for commercial office buildings. The engineer will be responsible for design of the system from initial conception through review of the system that is constructed by a qualified contractor. Activities include meeting with building occupants, architects, engineers of other trades and contractors. Some of the work is expected to occur in the office and some of the work will occur in the field. There will be opportunities to meet in other professional's offices to discuss project needs and coordinate project expectations. The employee will be supervised by a PE, which will allow the employee to pursue a license as a PE. Our firm supports this and encourages the PE licensure. The employee will gain knowledge of codes that regulate the building's design.
