Aardvark Engineers, Inc., an engineering and environmental services firm, is seeking an entry-level geotechnical technician / construction materials technician to work out of the Charlotte office location. We are an office that promotes collaboration, conversation and teamwork to drive results in the site development and construction industries.

So what are we looking for:

• Must live near or willing to relocate to the Charlotte, North Carolina area
• Civil engineering majors, civil engineering technology majors, geology majors, construction related work experience or just anyone that doesn't mind getting a little dirty outdoors while having fun doing so!
• Former military...We love our vets!
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
• Full time positions, part time positions and internships are available.
• Responsibilities will include field testing, daily report preparation and observations of soils, concrete, asphalt, reinforcing steel and masonry.
• This position reports to project managers and communicates with other field personnel.
• High school diploma/GED required
• Lifting requirement of 50 to 75 lbs
• Math and basic computer skills required
• Must have your own transportation
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
