Our summer Internship program immerses each Intern in an interactive, project-based work environment. Over the span of three months, Interns will participate in an in-depth orientation week, facility tours, Leadership Speaker Series Q&A panel, community service activities, baseball games, and beach bashes-all crafted to invest in our Interns' personal and professional development. Year over year, MicroVention continues to have best-in-class conversion rates, converting interns in the following departments: Human Resources, R&D, Legal, Corporate Communications, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Accounting/Finance, Marketing, and Talent Development.

Legal Intern

The?Legal Intern?will work under the direction of the Associate General Counsel and Senior Director of Legal Affairs and other leaders in the Legal Department to get hands-on professional experience in the practice of law.? You might be the right person if you...

  • Have the ability to work independently with minimal oversight and have a demonstrated ability to follow through on projects in a timely manner.

  • Have a genuine interest in learning the role of in-house counsel in a fast-paced global corporate environment.

  • Have strong desire to build skills in contracting engagement and review process.

  • Are comfortable performing legal research and drafting memoranda for various matters pertaining to the organization.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Under attorney supervision, draft and review correspondence, issue spot and comment/redline agreements, and other legal documents.

  • Support the Legal Operations Function.

  • Assist Legal Affairs Team with supporting and advising internal clients and business units.

  • Perform other tasks and special projects related to the Legal Affairs function.

  • Report on your progress in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

The Skills Needed for the Job

  • Rising 3L currently enrolled full-time at an accredited law school.

  • Interest in learning about role of in-house counsel.

  • Bachelor's degree.

  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite.

  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

Additional Information

  • This position will be an hybrid (onsite/remote) work role.

  • Relocation may be available for qualified candidates.
