Marketing Inter
Assists with a variety of marketing, customer service, event planning and Simon Business Ventures projects alongside the Director of Marketing & Business Development.
Principal responsibilities
- Social Media and Website
- Providing content and updates to social media and website platforms.
- Sales / Business Development
- Simon Brand Ventures – Company/Contact research. Proof of performance feedback/photos
- Gift card – B2B outreach
- Customer Service
- Perform gift card seller function
- Assist with inquires at front desk
- Event Planning
- Help organize and execute on-site events
- Develop pre and post event recaps
- Communications
- Assist with merchant relations such as memos, and other digital/in-person communication between management and stores
Minimum qualifications
- 20 hours of availability per week during the hours of 9AM – 5PM, Monday through Friday
- Flexible schedule to work events on weekends and evenings
- Valid driver’s license
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Effective communication (verbal/written), organizational and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate effective conflict resolution and customer service skills for interaction with customers, tenants, and co-workers
- Ability to prioritize, coordinate, multi-task, and demonstrate initiative
- Work well independently and as a team
Preferred qualifications
- Preference given to students currently enrolled in a college or university who can receive credit
- Preference for study in marketing, communications, public relations, or event planning
- Previous sales experience is a plus
