JOB SUMMARY   

The Sales Intern is responsible for learning about the designated markets and assisting in increasing the market share. Help satisfy customer needs and assist in acquiring new customers and maintaining existing customers. Researching new opportunities and adding leads into the system. Develop a close working relationship with customers and all internal company team members. 

SKILLS   

• Proficient in Excel, Word, powerpoint and Microsoft Outlook. 
• Knowledge of restaurants nearby area and coffee shops  
• Good communication skills and Personable
• Empathy and listening skills  
• Relationship building mentality  
• Problem solver and detail-oriented, Persistent and Can-do attitude.  

RESPONSIBILITIES   

• Part-time opportunity, 4 hours per week. Can get more hours up to 10-15 hours per week based on performance.    
• The Sales Intern will assist in growing market share in the designated region. 
• Learn and develop a close working relationship with existing and new customers   
• Research creative ways to reach and acquire new customers  
• Outdoor visit weekly, provide marketing flyers, and provide market updates  
• Create competitive analysis and a problem solver. Attend meetings, trainings and be an attentive and adaptive learner  

BENEFITS   

• $8 / Hour   
• Stipend provided for Travel – dependent on the Travel Trip 

QUALIFICATIONS  

• High School degree or equivalent, Experience in Food and Restaurant Industry is a plus.  
• Current university students or recent graduates: University Major in Sales or Marketing, Communications and/or related field (Business, Hospitality, etc)  
• Good communication skills & Detail-oriented  
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States  
• Work Location: Charlotte, NC, must be able to reliably commute and local person is preferred.
