Position:          Application Engineer III

Job Description:

Provide senior level system analysis, design, development, and implementation of application and databases; integrate third party products; translate technical specifications into code for complex new or enhancement projects for internal clients; write programs, develop code, test artifacts, and produce reports; employ software development techniques to ensure tests are implemented in a way that support automation; elevate code into development, test, and production environments on schedule; provide follow-up production support; submit change control requests and documents; participate in design, code, and test inspections throughout the life cycle to identify issues; explain technical considerations at related meetings, including those with internal clients; perform systems analysis activities; utilize thorough understanding and compliance with Information Technology and Information Security policies and procedures and verify deliverables meet requirements; utilize thorough understanding of client business functions and technology needs and broad understanding of technologies, tools, and applications, including those that interface with business area and systems; interface with cross functional team members and communicate systems issues at appropriate technical level for each audience; utilize thorough understanding of software development methodology and development architecture standards. Company operates on hybrid model with three days in office and work-from-home available two days.

Requirements:

Requires Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Technology, or another closely related IT field and five years of experience in job offered or in IT positions including Software Developer and/or Software Programmer Analyst and/or Systems Engineer. Background in education, training or experience must include Amazon Web Services (AWS), JAVA/J2EE, Spring Framework, Spring Integration, Java Persistence API, Restful Web Services, Hibernate, Oracle database, Junit, Jenkins.

Salary: $152,469 per year.
