About Arts+
Arts+’s mission is transforming lives and inspiring community through outstanding and accessible arts education. Arts+ serves more than 4,000 students annually through music and visual arts programs, including private lessons, group
classes, summer camps, workshops, and the Charlotte Youth Choir. Thanks to outreach programs and financial aid, more than half of students receive their programming for free or at a reduced rate.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Serve as the main point of contact for parents of summer camp students
● Communicate with Arts+ staff, summer camp instructors, and summer camp families relevant information and
concerns as needed.
● Assist in the upkeep, organization, and supply purchase for summer camp supplies at Park Road Baptist Church
(PRBC) and Arts+ uptown studio.
● Coordinate the summer camp schedule at PRBC and Arts+ studios to ensure designated recess/gym time, lunch,
and other breaks take place at apportioned times.
● Advocates as a representative of Arts+ and its partnerships with other organizations.
● Interacts with parents and peer partner organizations.
● Other duties as assigned.
● Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20lbs.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
● Desire to work with children. Comfortable working with children of all backgrounds and ages.
● Effective working both independently and collaboratively.
● Interest in education and nonprofit organizations.
● Must complete a background check.
