Role Description:

Prism Supply Co. is a motorcycle parts manufacturer based in Charlotte, North Carolina. In business for over 10 years, we specialize in providing parts for vintage motorcycles with an emphasis on quality design and U.S. manufacturing.

Being the engineering intern as part of the Prism Supply team, you will work daily with the engineering and manufacturing teams to help improve processes and documentation to further improve the quality of the business and products.

Responsibilities:

• Update current and create new assembly documents and part drawings.
• Interface with manufacturing/assembly staff to develop and improve assembly fixtures.
• Work within ERP system to make updates and standardize data entry.
• Assist in testing/documenting design changes to current and new products.
• Assist in product development process with light fabrication.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a degree in engineering or related field.
• CAD experience (3D and 2D).
• Mechanical aptitude/background is preferred.
  
  • Experience with powersports/motorcycles is a major plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google suite programs.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Schedule:

• 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Monday through Friday
• 10 – 12 week internship
