Job Description

The Program Director of Academic Integrity is responsible for assisting in the administrative duties of the student conduct and academic integrity processes; serving as a resource for various institutional stakeholders, and providing outreach to members of the University community.
Supervised by the Associate Dean of Students and Director of Student Accountability & Conflict Resolution, the Program Director assists in promoting the mission and philosophy of Student Accountability & Conflict Resolution and the Dean of Students Office. This position requires the flexibility, ability, and willingness to work nights and weekends in structured and unstructured settings with students, staff, and faculty.

  • Coordinate the university’s academic integrity process, including but not limited to the following: a) Partnering with the Chair of the Academic Integrity Board (AIB) to recruit, select, and train AIB members; b) Managing academic misconduct cases, including coordinating hearing preparation and scheduling Academic Integrity Hearing Panels; c) Advising Academic Integrity Board Panels; and d) Identifying institutional data and trends related to academic misconduct
  • Serve as a University conduct officer, reviewing, investigating, adjudicating, and managing conduct and academic misconduct cases, including serious violations that lead to suspension or expulsion from the University
  • Serve as an advisor to Administrative Hearing Panels, as needed
  • Serve as an Administrative Hearing Officer, as needed
  • Serve as a Student Conduct Counselor during hearings, as needed
  • Serve as an advisor to Student Hearing Panels, as needed
  • Serve as an advisor to Academic Misconduct Hearing Panels, as needed
  • Supervise graduate, internship, or practicum student(s), as needed
  • Coordinate programming and outreach efforts related to academic misconduct, and assist with office-wide and campus-wide programs and initiatives, as needed
  • Provide advocacy, assistance, and training regarding university policies and procedures, including policies related to student conduct and academic misconduct
  • Research and stay up-to-date on new industry student conduct and academic integrity standards, technologies, policies, and procedures; responsible for the implementation of new protocols/procedures to address business needs
  • Prepare and analyze statistical and annual reports regarding student conduct data related to academic misconduct
  • Work collaboratively with Academic Affairs and other student services leaders across departments in recommending standards, best practices, and related policies/procedures related to academic misconduct
  • Work collaboratively with units throughout the University, including but not limited to Police and Public Safety, Housing, and Residence Life, Legal Affairs, Title IX Office, Center for Wellness Promotion, Fraternity, and Sorority Life, Student Activities, Parking and Transportation Services, Counseling, and Psychological Services, Student Assistance and Support Services, Education Abroad, Registrar’s Office, Admissions, and Athletics
  • Serve on various departmental and institutional committees
  • Assist with other duties as assigned
