Job Description

Are you a passionate, driven graduate student looking to make a meaningful impact in the academic
community? The Office of Student Development and Success with the William States Lee College of
Engineering is seeking a dedicated Student Mentorship Program Coordinator to oversee and facilitate
our vibrant mentorship program. This role offers a unique opportunity to foster a supportive
environment for our undergraduate students, enabling their personal and academic growth through
mentorship.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive mentorship program for undergraduate students within the
College of Engineering.
- Recruit, train, and mentor a diverse group of mentors to ensure they are equipped with the necessary
skills and resources to support mentees effectively.
- Match mentees with suitable mentors based on academic interests, career goals, and personal
preferences.
- Organize regular workshops, seminars, and networking events to facilitate meaningful interactions
between mentors and mentees.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to both mentors and mentees throughout the duration of the
program.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to integrate the mentorship program into the overall academic
experience of undergraduate students.

- Collect and analyze feedback to assess the effectiveness of the program and implement improvements
as needed.

Must be currently enrolled in a UNCC Graduate program (PhD)
