Responsibilities You Will . . . Assist when needed with testing related to the Companys SOX 404 program including completing and documenting key process walk-throughs, testing controls, and assisting in remediation efforts. Assist with the completion of various interim external audit fieldwork. Review, evaluate, and test performance metrics of corporate functions and company operations, with an emphasis on accounting and finance processes or Brands Operational functions. Fully engage in all stages of financial, compliance and operational audits: planning, walk-throughs, fieldwork, and wrap-up. Address and complete all review notes resulting from completed audit work. Provide meaningful communications to audit management. Complete research of technical and industry matters as required. Perform other duties as requested, including selected data analysis and administrative tasks. Travel may be required, but not to exceed 5%. Qualifications The Experience You Will Bring (Minimum Requirements): Education, Training and Professional Experience: Presently enrolled in an under grad or masters program in Finance, Accounting, Auditing, Information Systems, or similar disciplines. Completed coursework in Auditing is a preferred plus. Minimum GPA of 3.1 on a 4.0 scale is required Relevant work experience is a plus Local student to the Atlanta office Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Client service orientation and self-starting demeanor High degree of academic and extracurricular achievement Ability to work on teams as well as on individual assignments. Desire to gain professional experience; eager to learn; strong work ethic Demonstrate foundational understanding of accounting and finance processes Proven analytical ability and attention to detail Strong organizational, problem solving, and communication (verbal and written) skills Ability to manage time and prioritize assignments Proficient in using MS Office Suite such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project We require the ability to pass a drug screen and background checks.
