Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive intern who is eager to gain hands-on experience in both sales/business development and recruiting. This internship offers an opportunity to learn the ins and outs of the staffing industry while working alongside experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales/Business Development:

• Cold call sales leads and reconnect with inactive customers.
• Engage with client contacts to discuss Verigent’s services and identify key decision-makers.
• Coordinate meetings between client decision-makers and Verigent's sales team members.
• Collaborate with the sales team to identify and reach out to new/prospective decision-makers using Boolean search strings.

Recruiting:

• Utilize Boolean search strings to identify potential candidates across various platforms including our internal database, career builder, monster, LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.
• Contact past candidates placed by Verigent to assess their current job status, gather updated resumes, and inquire about recent work experiences.
• Conduct initial phone screenings with potential applicants to assess their work history, technical skills, location preferences, travel availability, and salary expectations.
• Gain proficiency in running reports within our CRM system.
• Research and generate sales leads as needed.

Qualifications:

• Strong work ethic and proactive attitude.
• Comfortable with phone communication; willingness to engage with people extensively.
• Excellent grammatical and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and ability to learn and utilize Boolean search strings.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and directions.
