Software engineers will demonstrate how Vigilant Cyber Systems uses tools to focused on measuring effectiveness of offensive and defensive operations on cyber physical systems.
Who’s invited:
Any Computer science/computer engineering major or related majors.
Description:
They will demonstrate what a real world attack on a power plant might look like, and the kind of work that Vigilant does. You will see a suitcase containing industrial control hardware, and all the networks and workstations necessary to show such an attack (see attached photo). For the demo, Vigilant will break into several networks, compromise an engineering computer, and deploy a custom tool to target the hardware controlling the critical systems of the virtual “power plant”.
