Career Meet Ups are quick 30-minute small group sessions focused on specific topics and led by career coaches or employers. During Meet Ups, you'll have the opportunity to gain information, ask questions, and get some practice.
Facilitator Bio:
Brad Yeckley MBA PhD(C)
Brad is a Penn State alumnus with a BS in human development, an MBA in corporate finance, and currently writing his dissertation to finish his doctoral work in Workforce Education. He has professional experience in personal and business investment planning as a licensed investment adviser. He is a member of Penn State Emerging Leaders, sits on the Penn State Financial Literacy Advisory Board, and is also a member of the University Staff Advisory Council. He has received national credentialing, and recognition for his work in financial literacy. His dissertation focus is centered on financial literacy and its role in workforce education. He is also the assistant director of The Sokolov-Miller Family Financial and Life Skills Center at Pennsylvania State University. Brad believes in fully living a strengths-based life, his top five strengths are: Maximizer, WOO, Positivity, Learner, Includer.
