Calling students interested in pre-law, criminal justice or government careers! Join Career Center staff for a Career Trek to the Mecklenburg County Criminal Justice Services on Friday, April 5th from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm (program time). This experience will provide students with an understanding of the programs and services that are provided, meet with office staff to explore career opportunities in the industry, and learn about their internship program. This Trek is open to all students, but is particularly ideal for students who are interested in criminal justice, nonprofit, law, and government related careers.

Transportation is via Charlotte Light Rail (free with student ID). More transportation and logistics details will be shared with registrants.

Criminal Justices Services (CJS) promotes collaboration between the city, county, and state criminal justice agencies, in addition to community based and non-profit organizations. CJS also establishes and measures criminal justice performance measures, provides programs and services for affected community members, and develops initiatives that enhance systemic performance and heighten public safety.
