What to expect at the event: each school will have a table in the Student Activity Center; schools are represented by principals, human resources staff, and other school personnel. Students have the opportunity to spend a few minutes talking with school staff. School staff will want to see your resume and talk about your teaching interests, student teaching experience, and what you’re looking for in a school.

View event information online to see what schools will be in attendance. Identify schools of interest and do some research (you want to know the basics about the school and have enough information to ask thoughtful questions.

Bring 20+ copies of your resume. Cover letters, transcripts, and references aren’t needed.

Dress professionally—see the Attire section for more information.

Prepare 2-3 thoughtful questions to ask (although you may not get a chance to ask all of them).
