Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte Virtual Career Trek

Join Career Center staff for an interactive Virtual Career Trek to the Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte to learn about fulfilling career paths in the nonprofit industry! Student participants will receive detailed insight about the Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte, which provides a safe, affordable, and caring “home-away-from-home” for the families of children receiving treatment in Charlotte-area medical facilities.

Participants will engage with a variety of RMH employees via breakout sessions to learn more about volunteer, internship, and full-time roles needed to run the organization. You’ll also hear from experienced employees about what it’s like to work for RMH and in the nonprofit sector. This is a great opportunity to ask questions and network. Students will take away useful strategies for obtaining experience to prepare them for work at a nonprofit organization.
