As a part of our UNCC program, you will begin your journey as a Customer Insurance Representative (CIR). The CIR is an extension of our Allstate Agencies’ and Allstate.com interactions and receives calls through 800-Allstate, or Agency after-office hour phone calls. The CIR is responsible for handling customer inquiries and resolving service concerns. Primary support includes reviewing billing, updating a policy for items not requiring a license, and ensuring our customer is routed to the appropriate department. In this program, you will be given developmental opportunities such as mentorship, networking, and individual project work.
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent
Currently enrolled and active UNCC student in good standing
Ability to work between 20-32 hours per week
Excellent listening /communication skills (both oral and written)
Intermediate computer skills including keyboard proficiency
This position will start out as remote, but will move to an on campus position at a later date.
