We are looking to fill roles in 2 departments - Machine Software and Vision Engineering and Field Services.

Looking for candidates who are interested in a career in Automation, Machine Vision, Logistics and Automation Field Services.

Candidates should possess a strong acumen for independent thinking, some mechanical and electrical aptitude (mechanical and electrical assembly of equipment).

Ideal candidates will have a background in developing automation solutions, troubleshooting systems and installing new factory machine vision solutions. Both roles work with systems that can involve software development, robots, conveyors, and other part handling systems.

For the Software and Vision Engineering roles, candidates should be familiar with developing applications that interface with sensors and hardware (cameras, position sensors, PLCs etc.). Generally practical knowledge of developing applications using C/C++ and C#. Primary focus of this role is to develop the machine vision algorithms and final solutions for the production machines. Knowledge of vision tools (such as OpenCV, LabView, Tensor flow etc.) is a plus. Ability to quickly learn how to define and setup an image formation system (camera, lighting, optics, etc.) is key, and training will be provided, but the individual must be able to pick up and develop their skills independently as well. An understanding of how automation systems function with PLCs and robots are a plus.

For the Field Services roles, candidates must have strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting aptitude. This role involves installing factory automation and Logistics systems, troubleshooting issues with the machine vision systems in production. Work involves traveling (continental US primarily, but international travel is possible) on a regular basis, up to 70% of the time. Typically travel is Monday - Fridays and home on the weekends and holidays.

Both roles are based in Salisbury, NC. No remote.
