Job Description

  • Work with individuals with autism to find meaningful, satisfying, and successful gainful employment.
  • Collaborate with employers to identify job opportunities and relationships, as well as create an inclusive work environment with natural supports and growth potential.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance job skills, independence and adapt to changes.
  • Conduct interviews and assessments to determine individual strengths, interests, and goals for matching with potential employers. Assist with recruitment and hiring of support professionals.
  • Develop individualized annual plans focusing on job readiness, support, and training.  Ensure all required documentation is completed in a timely manner, and is kept in accordance with funding requirements.
  • Manage departmental budget and expenses as needed, as well as coordinate with accounting, payroll and billing.
  • Work will be in both office and community/employment settings.  Regular travel to external sites will be required.
  • Will supervise direct support staff.
