Information Technology Intern

 This position will be at our Aftermarket Warehouse location in Charlotte, NC.

We are looking for a current college student to work with us in our Information Technology Group to gain a variety of on-the-job work experiences. We can be flexible to work around school schedules.

Responsibilities:

• The IT Intern will report to the IT Manager and will have the responsibility to resolve a variety of IT issues in both an office and manufacturing environment. They can expect to oversee IT systems and assets, assist with upgrades and fixes, and provide training and support as needed.
• Support the IT team in maintaining hardware, software, and other systems.
• Assist with troubleshooting issues and providing technical support.
• Organize and maintain IT resources.
• Assists in the development, preparation and execution of projects Interfacing with employees.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

• Current college student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in information technology.
• Excellent computer skills including strong working knowledge of computer hardware and software as well as Microsoft applications.
• Helpdesk of IT Support experience preferred.
• Outstanding communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Detail oriented, self-starter.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Working Conditions:

• Normal office environment. May also be attending to IT equipment in a warehouse environment.

Accountability:

• Responsible to follow all Stabilus procedures and technical guidelines as well as adhere to customer requirements.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
